Hygiene Therapy (Dental Cleanings)

Comprehensive Oral Examination

Taking care of your teeth means more than brushing and flossing. It is important to visit a dentist every six months for a professional cleaning and regular checkup.

At White Lily Dental, our number one priority is to provide our valued patients with an exceptional dental care. We offer our patients a comprehensive hygiene service.

During your hygiene appointment, our hygienist will scrape along and below the gum line using a special instrument to remove any built-up plaque and tartar that can cause gum disease, cavities, bad breath and other dental problems. Your hygienist will polish and floss your teeth as well as instruct you on oral care techniques and the products that you can use at home to help improved oral health.

A healthy smile starts with an exam. We strive to provide the best dental treatment possible. The first step toward healthy teeth is a comprehensive oral examination. This examination is more thorough and detailed than a routine checkup.

Our team at White Lily Dental will thoroughly conduct a full examination of your teeth, gums, soft tissue, bite and joints. This will allow us to determine what you need and to evaluate and plan for your long-term oral health.

A complete oral examination takes approximately one hour. Before examining your teeth, it is important for us to gather as much information not only about your dental history but as well as your medical history. Our goal is to provide a thorough exam that will include a various component that will ensure that all aspects of your oral health is being covered.

We advise all new patients to have a Complete Oral Examination done during their initial visit to our practice. This will provide as a baseline that your dentist will use to prepare for any future recommendations or treatment plans.
